Sweet treats and smooth jazz 鈥� that’s what you can expect from Garibaldi Secondary’s annual Dessert and Dance event this weekend.
Garibaldi Secondary will be performing with the Golden Ears Jazz Band, a community music ensemble, at Albion Community Centre (24165 104 Ave.) on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at 7 p.m.
Together, the jazz bands will perform live big band style swing and ballroom dance music, making it the perfect night out for Valentine鈥檚 Day.
The event features a variety of desserts, a photo booth and a silent auction. A dance instructor will also be there offering free lessons in swing dancing.
Put on your dancing shoes, get your sweet tooth ready and come out for an entertaining evening.聽
Tickets are available for $25 or $30 at the door. Proceeds will go to Garibaldi Secondary鈥檚 music program.
