Dorothy and聽her dog Toto will be heading down the yellow brick road in聽Westview Theatre Group’s upcoming production of聽‘聽The Wizard of Oz’.
The story, explained Grade 10 student Rachel Moncey, is about friendship.
“I just love the friendship between all of the characters,” she said.
Moncey is one of two actors who plays the role of Dorothy Gale in the Westview Secondary production.
Basically, she explained,聽throughout the play Dorothy聽is trying to find her way back home, but Oz gives her a challenge that she has to conquer in order to be sent back home again.聽
